How to take care of your stones:
As soon as you acquire a new stone, you have to clean it. Indeed, it may have absorbed a whole series of energies and it is important to purify it to start again on a good basis.
For this, there are different ways of doing it depending on the stone.
Salt is the most common way although it is not suitable for all minerals. Opal, turquoise, lapis lazuli or malachite, for example. The minerals should be placed on salt for a few hours or overnight, then rinsed with water and dried.
An even simpler and more effective way is to cleanse and recharge the minerals by placing them on a geode or a quartz or amethyst druse . This is great for jewelry or items that have wires, rubber bands, or metal like pendulums and pendants so you don't damage them.
Cleaning can be done using the following:
WATER : Minerals can be submerged for several hours or simply by letting water run over them. Tap water is compatible, but if we have fresh water, rainwater or ritualized water like moon water, it's even better.
AIR : You can blow gently on the stone to purify it.
EARTH : You can also leave the stone on grass, bury it in natural ground such as earth or sand for a few hours.
FIRE : Fumigation is also possible. Using incense, Palo Santo, sage or the flame of a candle.
Sound vibrations : Using singing bowls or tuning forks is also a good way to clean minerals. This will also make it possible to vibrate the energy of the people present and the space.
Once they are clean, we can charge the minerals by putting them in the sun or in front of a window under a full moon. When leaving them in the sun, be careful that some minerals can lose “intensity, such as amethyst, rose quartz or citrine. It is better to expose them in the morning when the sun is milder.
