The chakras
Etymologically, Chakra comes from Sanskrit and means "wheel" or "light disc". It mainly belongs to the Hindu, Yogic, Tantric and Chinese Eastern traditions. Chakras are energy centers that fulfill the function of receiving, assimilating and transmitting vital energies. They are usually seven in number and are placed along the spine, from the coccyx to the top of the head.
