Interview :

White chalk stains that may appear are normal if you use this item with fresh flowers. This is due to tap water being used to water your plants. If you don't want that to happen, you can just use rainwater.

Otherwise, the white spots are easily removed with hot water and a dash of vinegar.

During the winter months, it is recommended that you bring your terracotta items indoors. They can freeze and shatter at temperatures below freezing!
